Richard C Harrington has lived most of his life in or near the mountain ranges of the western United States. As a youth and young man he was captivated by the wonder and majesty of The Sierra Nevada, Rockies, and Cascades; developing a deep respect and affinity for the natural power and beauty of the mountains.

He grew up on a steady diet of flavorful campfire stories, generously served by his grandpa and has carried on this great oral tradition as he raised his 3 sons and 4 daughters in these beloved surroundings. Richard has been published in many newspapers and magazines throughout his career in business administration and public relations. March of the Mountain Sun is his first published work of fiction.

He currently resides with his wife, Jeri Lynn, in Lewistown, Montana after having lived the previous fourteen years in the Endless Mountains Region of Northeastern Pennsylvania. When Richard is not researching and writing he enjoys gardening, performing humanitarian service with his church and sharing his love of all good things with his wife Jeri Lynn and their forty-three grandchildren; the next generation of storytellers, scholars and Grandpa's geniuses!
